February 25, 2017 • IndieDesk DTLA, Los Angeles, CA • Learn more

Join Girl Develop It for an introductory look into WordPress. This class has plenty of class time for trying things out for yourself, asking questions, and getting help. There’s also time between classes for you to experiment on your own and return next session with questions!

This class is for beginners wanting to learn about using WordPress as a content management system for a blog or website. You can arrive knowing nothing about WordPress and will leave knowing how to start up, build and manage a site.

GDI Santa Clarita Valley Study Group (FREE)

February 28, 2017 • Starbucks, Santa Clarita, CA • Learn more

Join other GDI students who are learning front-end web development – HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript/jQuery. All levels are welcome, so whether you’re just getting started with your first HTML class or whether you’ve got the basics down and are moving into intermediate or advanced territory, you’re welcome to attend! Beginners are especially encouraged to attend and participate in study groups – it will really help you to grasp new concepts and push your skills to the next level.

GDI Study Groups are relaxed and informal, and are intended as a way for our community to work and play together while providing each other with ongoing support and feedback. Hang out with like-minded students for an evening. This is not a hackathon or an advanced meetup – this is a relaxed place for all of our students to spend time coding together. We’re very friendly and would love to have you join us!
